6th Annual Fundraising Dinner

We raised over $100,000 that will help us function, so we can continue to meet the needs of San Antonio’s less fortunate. In 2012, we fed over 350,000 people and distributed over 6 million pounds of food and household items. Our new location at 6351 Rittiman Road – The old Lack’s warehouse has 163,000 square feet of space and we have put it to good use.

We raised over $100,000 that will help us function, so we can continue to meet the needs of San Antonio’s less fortunate.

The Servant’s Table Round Up took place on April 13th, 2013 at the University Incarnate Word Sky Room. It started with a silent auction at 6:00 pm, featuring various speakers, followed by dinner. The evening program was full of excitement with leaders from Ethnos and Last Chance Ministries sharing their testimonies.

Needy Families Receive Food Assistance

Jennifer Dodd of KSAT 12 news story about “Needy families receive food assistance”. More than 400 San Antonio families got a little much needed help Thursday thanks to Daily Bread Ministries. One of those families include Jessica Gomez, who has one daughter about to turn 2 and another on the way.

More than 400 San Antonio families got a little much needed help

She and her husband were already having a hard time making ends meet, then he was forced to quit his job. Her husband, a house painter, fell and hurt his back recently, leaving them with no income. But on Thursday, the Gomez family received a little help: a box of free food and toiletries from the Daily Bread Ministries. Daily Bread Ministries partnered with an organization called Feed the Children to help collect food and hygiene items for around 400 families
