Daily Bread Ministries is Christian based food bank, which all food is giving away free of charge. It is operated by dedicated staff and volunteers that run daily routes to collect surplus goods from food suppliers and catering companies throughout San Antonio. The collected goods are then brought to our 20,000 square foot warehouse at 700 W. Houston street. Typically the food is redistributed to non-profit organizations and ministries within 48 hours. We are supported through the prayers and financial donations of businesses, individuals, churches and grants.

Daily Bread Ministries was founded by Seth Kuehn and was incorporated in 1996 and became a 501(c)(3) in 1997. Each year since then, we have grown in our ability to distribute food and other goods. These goods are collected from area companies. Currently over 200 churches and non-profit organizations receive more than 4 million pounds of Food and Product each year.

Because of our large volunteer base, we have a low overhead which maximizes our funding to assist those in need. Due to our success in San Antonio, we have assisted in developing partner food distribution centers in Boerne, Floresville, Seguin, Eagle Pass and McAllen Texas.
